Nairobians in rare praise of police officer who executed suspects publicly

Nairobians on social media have praised a plain-clothes police officer caught on video executing an unarmed man in broad daylight.

The video shows the officer shooting the multiple times as members of the public watch in Eastleigh.

Nairobi County Police commander Japheth Koome confirmed the Friday incident saying the suspect was wanted for killing two police officers from Kayole and Soweto last month

The video has elicited mixed reactions from Kenyans with most of them praising the police the officer for a ‘’job well done”.
