Ozil inspires Arsenal to thrash West Ham

LONDON, United Kingdom, Apr 5 – Mesut Ozil scored a goal and made another as Arsenal claimed a first Premier League win since February 11 with a 3-0 win over struggling West Ham at the Emirates.

Ozil opened the scoring after 58 minutes before 10 minutes later he turned provider for Theo Walcott to tuck in a second.

Olivier Giroud then struck the third on 83 minutes to wrap up the three points and extend the Hammers’ winless run to seven games and leave Slaven Bilic’s men just three points clear of the relegation zone.
