
On Monday morning subscribers of Kenya’s biggest mobile provider, Safaricom, found themselves out of touch with the rest of the world after the provider suffered a countrywide outage.
The outage left millions of its subscribers unable to transact and make calls. Safaricom has since explained that the outage was as a result of a technical fault and apologized to its subscribers.
But not before the mobile provider started trending on social media for the all wrong and funny reasons.
