It was the kind of sisterly advice that should ordinarily have been applauded for its insight and sensibility.

Instead, KTN news anchor Yvonne Okwara’s Facebook advice to single women in Kenya, telling them to stop whining about the scarcity of good men, attracted the wrath that was unexpected.

In her post, Miss Okwara did not mince her words on women who complain that “Good Men are hard to find” in Kenya.

“Most women I talk to keep saying, “Good Men are hard to find.” I disagree entirely. Good Men aren’t hard to find, they are just hard to entice and win over,” she said.

She did not stop there.

Ms Okwara proceeded to advice Kenyan single women to stop showing off cleavage, winding their behinds or wearing some tight clothes to attract attention.

“All this will get you the attention of an Ordinary Man, but they won’t land you a Man of Substance.”

Kenyans agreed with her post which attracted more almost two thousand replies.
