A victim of the Weston Hotel cholera outbreak has narrated details of the frantic moments at the hotel after the outbreak was detected.

In a series of tweets, the woman, who goes by the name Monalisa, on Friday described how the situation worsened as more guests at the hotel exhibited acute symptoms of the waterborne disease.

Health experts on Friday confirmed the outbreak of cholera at the hotel that is associated with Deputy President William Ruto..

Over 50 guests were tested at Nairobi Hospital and 24 tested positive for cholera.

Monalisa begins her narration by declaring she is a victim of the cholera outbreak at Weston Hotel and that she has been admitted at Nairobi Hospital.
