Embakasi East MP Paul Ongili shocked his Twitter followers on Monday with a bold tweet that dared police to arrest him after he denied claims directing abusive remarks towards President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The tweet was posted hours before his actual arrest.
The MP, popularly known as Babu Owino, had bragged in the tweet that police cells are meant for human beings and not animals.
If the police wants to arrest me let them do it now.Cell is meant for human beings not animals. #NoReformsNoElections #IGADkeepOff

Kenyans online reacted with anger towards the legislator’s post and demanded for his immediate arrest.
Babu Owino was at 4pm by police officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations and taken to the DCI headquarters questioning.
Netizens had this to say.
Pride comes before a fall. God despises proud people. Address Kenyans like adults, not students.
