Our client, a leading manufacturing company that provides you with high-quality solar products and services is looking for a Supply Chain Manager. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in the solar industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Customer Service & Logistics function within the company.
  • Lead the Distributor management function within the company.
  • Organization and develop teams in Customer Service.
  • 100% component stock availability while minimizing working capital.
  • Continuous landed material cost reduction.
  • Monthly, Quarterly and Annual delivery of Sales through our distributor Verses Company Targets.
  • Improvement on Brand recognition & Perception through the dealer network.
  • Lead the Customer Service & Logistics team.
  • Ensure implementation & adherence to all purchasing & supply procedures.
  • Drive continuous cost reduction of landed material costs.
  • Ensure proper management of duty & VAT exempted imports.
  • Arrange for smooth deliveries and export documentation.
  • Ensure awareness of competition and competitors’ activities.
  • Ensure correct stock levels at each of our distributor’s service centers.
  • Drive brand awareness through our distributor & dealer network.
  • Remain up to date with new development within your industry.
  • Manage teams, ensuring they operate within company policies and guidelines.
  • To promote growth and development, motivation, training, promotion and discipline.
  • Identify training needs, conduct staff competence/performance appraisals.
  • Carry out annual appraisals of all your subordinates.
  • Ensure staff safety and welfare within the department while keeping up 6S & Kaizen.
  • Motivation and maintenance of morale amongst employees.
  • Maintenance and enforcement of discipline.
  • Enhance personal skills through internal and external methods.
  • Participate in any other duties that shall be reasonably assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement & Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum of 5-year experience in a supervisory or management position.
  • Solid experience with Imports and Exports.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel.
  • Possess excellent communication skills both written and oral.
  • Possess excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Flexible, adaptable and able to multitask.
  • Positive and cooperative team player.
  • Possess successful leadership experience, including skills in coaching and training.
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Manufacturing industry experience an asset.
