The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) on Thursday embarked on online voter education ahead of the repeat presidential election.

The IEBC started with a tweet explaining that voters will be allowed to exercise their right.

The commission wrote that voters will only be allowed to cast a vote where they voted during the general election as that is where their ballot papers are.

The tweet elicited mixed reactions with most users taking the opportunity to lecture IEBC on how to conduct the repeat polls.

An earlier tweet by the commission re-assuring Kenyans that it would conduct the polls in accordance with the Supreme Court ruling recommendations and the law.
