Uhuru declared winner of repeat election

IEBC has declared that President Uhuru Kenyatta has been re-elected with 7,483,895 votes, 98.27 per cent of all valid votes.

The official turnout was 38.84 per cent, which is based on the fact that there was a return of zero from three counties.

President Kenyatta is yet to arrive at the Bomas of Kenya where he is set to be issued with a certificate.
