Our client, East Africa’s Largest Coffee Farms located in Moshi, Tanzania is looking to recruit an experienced, qualified and motivated General Manager Finance. The successful candidate Must have a minimum of 5 years in senior management, excellent professional qualification & international experience. He / she would have an added advantage if they have worked in an Agriculture environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for enhancing, guide and professionalize the Finance, Procurement and IT department.
  • Ensure that all interfaces to support other departments are clearly defined.
  • Develop suitable reporting templates and monitor overall administration.
  • Lead and manage staff in the Finance, Procurement and IT departments.
  • Ensure that realistic activity measures for cost, demand and activity control purpose.
  • Chief Financial spokesperson for the organization.
  • Preparation of annual accounts, budgets, forecasts and monthly financial reports.
  • Developing the IT accounting system.
  • Daily & strategic cost and budget control.
  • Cost analyses and investment strategy.
  • Liquidity management and banking oversight.

Qualification:

  • Must have an undergraduate degree in Finance/ Accounting.
  • An MSc. or MBA would be an added advantage.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an international environment.
  • Must have experience working in East Africa.
  • Proficient in finance management ERP System.
  • Knowledge of contract drafting and negotiating.
  • Knowledge of large-scale commercial Agriculture.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Must be willing to relocate to Moshi, Tanzania.
