Veteran journalist, Saddique Shaban, has evoked the wrath of Kenyans on Twitter for tweeting about how Jubilee nominated Member of Parliament David ole Sanko gifted his daughter a brand new car.
What rubbed KOT the wrong way was the journalist’s insinuation that legislator, who is living with disability, bought his daughter the expensive gift “for accepting and loving his disability unconditionally.”

Most online users responded to the tweet by asking the journalist if other daughters don’t equally “love their fathers unconditionally.”
But an unfazed Saddique responded to his critics blow-for-blow.
Are you living with disability? If yes, pull a similar stunt and we shall make it trend. Otherwise stuff it up, son. No compulsion to engage.

On this forum, son, I step very hard, ruthlessly and mercilessly on trolls. I particularly murder green-grass-in-the-snake addlepates types.
Just letting you know. It’s a Sunday and my team won yesterday. So….— Saddique Shaban (@SaddiqueShaban) January 21, 2018
Was this about other people with disability?

Keep your faith to yourself.

This is not the first time that the MP is grabbing the headlines for his self-indulgence.
On December 21, 2017, he threw a big party to celebrate his daughter’s excellent performance in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education examinations.
The daughter, Sankok Rosemary Naserian, scored a mean grade of A minus in the examinations.
