Our client, a well-known and successful automotive group, committed to delivering outstanding customer service is seeking an intelligent, professional and dynamic After Sales Manager to join their business. The desired candidate will need to have proven experience in being able to independently manage and develop a customer focused and profitable aftersales department. This position requires you to be able to cope under pressure, be self-disciplined and an excellent leader. A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Automotive Industry is desired.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an after sales strategy.
- Provide strategic and technical leadership in all after sales functions.
- Develop short/medium and long-range plans and budgets.
- Achieve the set monthly/quarterly/annual targets.
- Provide effective leadership.
- ensuring employee retention and satisfaction through implementation of effective systems.
- Review standard operating procedures (SOP) and policies to align to best practice.
- Build customer loyalty and trust by being a strong advocate for customers’ interest.
- Provide support to the GM in developing an effective distribution network across the region.
Qualifications:
- At least 10 years’ experience in Automotive industry preferably in Engineering or Aftersales operations.
- Degree or High National Diploma in Automotive / Mechanical Engineering.
- Deep knowledge of Motor vehicle technology and emerging designs and trends
- Ability to influence and motivate.
- Pleasant and out-going personality with proven ability to build strong long-term networks.
- A strong team player, able to manage conflicts and diversity.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and spoken
- Strong customer focus.
- Postgraduate business degree will be an added advantage.
