Dance Instructor

We are in the 2nd Phase of Recruitment for the new and fast-paced International school based in Tatu City. The school is currently seeking to recruit a Dance Instructor who must be exposed to Classic and Modern dancing.  The ideal candidate Must be available to start working in September 2018, willing to work on a permanent basis and Must have worked in an I.G.C.S.E Learning Institution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Observe students to determine physical and artistic qualifications and limitations and plans programs to meet students’ needs and aspirations.
• Explain, demonstrate techniques and methods of regulating body movements to musical or rhythmic accompaniment.
• Train pupils in execution of dance steps.
• Teach theory and practice of dance notation.
• Choreograph and direct dance performance.
• Instructs pupils in ballet, ballroom, tap, and other forms of dancing.

Qualifications:

•  Must have a have a relevant Bachelor’s Degree.
• Must have 5 years of experience in an I.G.C.S.E Learning Institution.
• Must be exposed to Classic and Modern dancing.
• Must be available to start working in September 2018.
• Must be willing to work on a permanent basis.
• Must have proven experience in working with kids of all ages.
• Must have a Kenyan Certificate of Good Conduct.
• Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must express the ability to teach creatively with high presentation skills.
• Candidates with International experience will have an added advantage.
