We are looking for an energetic and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead all aspects of our client’s business. The Restaurant Manager will be based in Eldoret at the restaurant which offers a unique concept in entertainment and a wide range of quality local and international food and beverages. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver a high-quality menu and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service. The Restaurant Manager responsibilities will include but are not limited to; maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability and quality goals. He/she will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. The ideal candidate a minimum of 5 years as a Bar/Restaurant Manager and managing a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Company Director with recommendations for hiring, disciplinary measures and termination.
- Overall responsibility of financial management.
- Supervise the accountant to ensure proper financial records are maintained.
- Ensure a wide variety of products is maintained in the premises.
- Ensures full compliance with all statutory authorities.
- Overall responsibility for stock control.
- Make recommendations to the Company Director for any revisions as necessary.
- In charge of developing and implementing marketing, advertising, public and community relations.
- Maintain client satisfaction, initiating improvements and building relationships with patrons.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years previous experience as a Bar/Restaurant Manager.
- Must have a bachelor’s Degree in Food and Beverage Management or related discipline.
- A natural leader, with ability to manage and get the best from a team.
- Excellent guest service skills always exceeding guest expectations.
- A strong knowledge of high-end food and beverage market.
- Must have outstanding communication abilities.
