The world’s largest and fastest-growing vehicle company in the Automotive sector is looking to hire a Retail Sales Manager to manage, coordinate and lead the retail sales team in the achievement of the sales targets, grow market share, cultivate culture of customer delight and develop marketing strategies for the assigned region. The ideal candidate must have more than 7 years of experience within automotive industry, 3 at which should be at Managerial Level, with a bachelor’s degree in sales/marketing/business or engineering and with excellent communication and presentation skills. The candidate must have a clean driving license with ability to drive both manual & auto transmission vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead Retail Sales team to achieve budget sales targets, revenues and profits.
- Coordinate Retail expenses, debts collection and gross profit management.
- Manage sales activities through proactive prospecting and inquiries follow up.
- Ensure high level of customer delight and satisfaction through proactive service delivery.
- Ensure timely response & attendance to all enquiries and quotations while adhering to internal pricing & process guidelines.
- Proactive review of internal processes & SOP’s for timely and delightful customer service delivery.
- Develop and analyse reports relating to prospecting, showroom traffic and conversion ratios.
- Entrenchment of Kaizen activities and participation by retail team members for continuous improvement.
- Maintain close relationships, conduct performance reviews, recommend trainings and develop career development plans for the sales team.
- Organize for sales promotions and manage showroom.
- Evaluate market penetration in the assigned region; works from leads, market data and customer inquiries.
- Perform market segmentation, analysis, competitor analysis, customer data base and prepare a game plan for the region.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in sales/marketing/business or Engineering from a recognized institution. A master’s degree will be an added advantage.
- At least 7 years’ experience in sales within Automotive industry, 3 of which should be at Managerial Level.
