Stock Controller

Our client, a well-established construction and security company is looking to recruit a Stock Controller to be based in Nairobi Kenya. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role using pastel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creating job cards and purchase orders.
• Updating of pastel invoices from delivery notes.
• Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock.
• Enter purchase details (vendors information, invoices and pricing) into internal databases.
• Place orders to replenish merchandise as required.
• Evaluate suppliers’ offers and negotiate profitable deals.
• Coordinate regular inventory audits.
• Liaise with warehouse staff and other internal teams to test products’ quality.
• Keep updated inventory records.
• Ensure purchases do not exceed budget.

Qualifications:

• Must have a bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Must have experience working with pastel.
• Experience working with skilled and unskilled labour.
• Strong sense for integrity and discretion.
• Must have experience of stock control, inventory and auditing work.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and numerical accuracy.
