Head of Sales – Out of Home Advertising Industry, Nairobi.

The Kenya’s most dynamic, progressive and creative company in the out of home industry, delivering creative and intelligent out-of-home advertisement and experiential marketing is looking to recruit a Head of Sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing leadership to the sales organization’s management team while fostering a culture of accountability and high performance. A Minimum of Seven years of experience in a business-to-business sales environment / service industry is mandatory. Candidates with experience in the Out of Home Advertising Industry will have an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
• Aligning the sales organization’s objectives with firm business strategy.
• Effective sales organization designing, including sales job roles, channel design, and resource deployment.
• Meeting assigned targets for profitable sales volume, market share, and other key financial performance objectives.
• Determining gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results.
• Lead learning, development and stewardship of the sales talents.
• Establish and govern the sales organizations performance management system.
• Provide leadership and cultural management to the sales organization’s management team.
• Lead sales organization change initiatives.
• Establish and maintains productive peer-to-peer relationships with customers and prospects.
• Recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training sales employees.
• Setting activity and revenue targets for members of the sales team.
• Spotting market opportunities for new customers.
• Monthly reporting on sales performance against budget and reporting on variances.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor / master’s in business administration or equivalent.
• Minimum Seven years of sales management experience in a business-to-business sales environment / service industry.
• Previous experience successfully managing sales teams ideally from a similar industry.
• Proven track record of achieving targets and driving sales growth in a business.
• Strong leadership skills and an ability to inspire sales teams.
• Experience in the Out of Home Advertising Industry will have an added advantage.
