Reservation Consultant for a Safari Group – Nairobi

 

Our client, a high end Safari Group, is looking for a Reservation Consultant with a good knowledge of the luxury and niche market. The successful candidate must have at least 3 years experience working in the Touring Industry and demonstrate the ability to accurately and in a timely manner deal with a large volume of enquiries. Experience in the Tourism Industry is a MUST!

Key Responsibilities:
• Handling any enquiries in a polite, professional, accurate and timely manner.
• Inputting enquiries correctly into all systems i.e. CRM, ResRequest and Tour Costing Software.
• Dealing with both direct and agent enquires and always acting with the companies best interests
• Building positive relationships with clients and suppliers
• Ensuring all payments for bookings are collected on time
• Working within the team and assisting with day to day needs of the company as required

Qualification:
• Bachelors degree in Tourism Management or related subject
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the industry and handling tours
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of the East Africa Touring market
• Experience working with ReRequest is a MUST
