Former Citizen TV anchor Joey Muthengi has landed a new job offer at an international radio station in Washington DC, States two months after she quit Citizen TV in a huff.
The petite former rapper received an offer of a new job by the Voice of America (VOA)-a U.S government funded international radio broadcast with its headquarters in Washington DC.
An excited Muthengi couldn’t hide her joy taking to her social media to share the good news after receiving an email from VOA English to Africa Service asking her to accept or decline the job offer as soon as possible.
“Joey, English to Africa Service Voice of America has an urgent job request for you, please review on playdesk and accept or decline ASAP” read part of the email.
Several years ago VOA, offered Muthengi her first internship while she was still in college in the States pursuing her Media career.
“OMG, Voice of America was my 1st internship while still in college. I can’t even. Look at God” a blissful Joey posted.
Joey reactions could be a clear indication that she won’t be turning down the offer.
In November last year she handed her former employers Royal Media Service her resignation letter after she was summoned for a disciplinary action for taking part in a Betin betting advert which rivals that of her former employer, Shabiki.
