Restaurant Manager – Kuwait.

Our client based in Kuwait is seeking a passionate Restaurant Manager driven by the desire to satisfy customers. The successful candidate will be expected to coordinate activities of the restaurant operations and staff, ensure quality product and excellent service to customers. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years as a Restaurant Manager and 5 years in the field of Hospitality.

It is a legal requirement by Kuwait that all workers Must undergo medical examination I.e. HIV, syphilis, TB, Hepatitis and Yellow fever. Must have a travel passport and valid good conduct certificate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the executive head chef to ensure full SOP in place.
• Maintain client satisfaction, initiating improvements and building relationships.
• Estimate food consumption, place orders with the central kitchen.
• Resolve customer complaints about food quality or service.
• Monitor actions of staff and customers to ensure health and safety standards regulations are obeyed.
• Total receipts and balances against sales, deposit receipts, and lock facility at the end of the day.
• Identify and estimate quantities of foods, beverages, and supplies to be ordered.
• Make decisions and solve problems concerning menus and staff.
• Monitor inventory, track staff schedules and pay, and perform other record-keeping tasks.
• Prepare reports at the end of the shift-week, including staff control, food control and sales.
• Coordinating the entire operation of the restaurant and schedule shifts.
• Any other duties as assigned by the management team.

Qualification: 

• At least 3 years of previous experience as a Restaurant Manager and 5 years in Hospitality.
• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Food and Beverage Management or related discipline.
• A natural leader, with the ability to manage and get the best from a team.
• Excellent guest service skills always exceeding guest expectations.
• Must have outstanding communication abilities.
• Candidates with international experience will have a distinct advantage.
• Must have a travel passport and a good conduct certificate.
