...it’s a sad one... If I was in her place, when I walk from that hospital Bed, I will give myself wholly to serve God… Looking at the wreckage… It's a miracle she survived… Do not wait for a disaster to strike, Go back to God Now!... For you know not the hour.
“We had students from Kenyatta University, others from Dedan Kimathi University and two had finished university. We were coming from Nairobi Heading to Kisii A place known as “Magena” where we were coming to a celebration for one of our friends”. Mercy Narrates.
We arrived at Kisii Town at around 7.00 to 7.30 p.m. that evening and exchanged driver because the one who had brought us from Nairobi was tired.
We started our journey towards our friend’s home immediately .From there all I remember is screaming from my friends then I found myself in the hospital.
Interviewer: So the one who took over from Kisii was not a driver?
Mercy: All of them had driving license but the driver who drove us from Nairobi to Kisii was not the same driver who was driving when the accident occurred.
Interviewer: How Many were you in that vehicle?
Mercy the survivor: We were eight in that vehicle which was a 'Noah’ but I was the only survivor. Interviewer: Did you post to WhatsApp?
Mercy The survivor:
There is a picture we took in a group of many ladies where we were
wearing white because the dress code of the “bash’ celebrations was
white. We dint post to what sap some placed the pictures as their
profile pictures that is where people downloaded them from. Maybe those
are the pictures which are going round.
Interviewer: Am asking you huyo mwenye bash yuko? Does that person who was hosting bash exist?
Mercy the survivor: Yeah can he miss and he was expecting us? Because he was aware we were going there. We were two groups there are those who reached safely but ours dint make it. We were two having two cars the one which was a Voxy reached safely but ours dint make it. We had students from Dedan Kimathi, Utalii KU, another who may be joining who is a sister to the one in KU.
