Nairobi women are drooling over some good looking men vying in Langata constituency parliamentary seat in this year’s general election.

Businessmen Ahmed Ibrahim (Papa), Nixon Korir, Jacob Ouma (Jobby) and Robert Kipkemboi had their photos combined in a photo collage and shared on a popular Facebook group Buyer Beware where women went gaga.

Users described the Langata aspirants as eye candies with some joking of how they need to move to the estate.

ONLINE REACTIONS

One member of the group commented, “Langata wako HooT kweli… saaa nani tutachagua, hehe!!!!”

Another stated, “Damn, I should have taken that vacant house in Langata when I could.”

The city constituency’s current representative is Joash Olum who was in March ranked among the most silent legislators in parliament by Mzalendo Trust.

Ahmed Papa as he is popularly known is a close ally of opposition leader Raila Odinga, who was for a long time represented the larger Langata constituency.

He is also a close friend of Mombasa governor Hassan Joho and a businessman who runs his Aptech International Limited Company.

FLAMBOYANCE

Nixon Korir, a close ally of deputy president William Ruto is the secretary of youth affairs under the presidency.

Jobby, a businessman in the communication and logistics industries was in the race in 2013 losing out to Olum.

His flamboyance is visible on his Facebook account with a particular photo of him holding bunches of Sh1,000 notes during his first visit to his in-laws eliciting mixed reactions.

Kipkemboi has interests in Agribusiness running several greenhouses and dairy farming businesses and has fronted himself in the race as #TeamKazi.
