FRANCEVILLE, Gabon, Jan 28 – Cameroon qualified for the semi-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations after beating Senegal 5-4 in a penalty shoot-out on Saturday.

Senegal’s Sadio Mane crucially missed Senegal’s last penalty in the shoot-out, allowing Cameroon to win a quarter-final tie in Franceville that ended goalless after 120 minutes.

They will stay in Franceville for a semi-final tie on Thursday against either DR Congo or Ghana, who meet on Sunday in Oyem.
