“We are ready and we want to do something extraordinary for our supporters”, said Adebayor.

”Ivory Coast is a very strong team with many young players but we also have young players who are very talented, and we have more than half of the team that has already been at Africa Cup of Nations.

“It is to Côte d’Ivoire to lead the game, we will quietly play our game and we will see what it will give in the end,” he said.

Togo have made seven appearances at the Afcon with their best finish being in the quarter-finals in 2013.
