NAIROBI, Kenya, Feb 2 – KCB FC and Vihiga United have been promoted to the 2017 Kenyan Premier League after Football Kenya Federation (FKF) announced that Muhoroni Youth and Sofapaka for the second time failed to meet the club licensing threshold.
Making the announcement on Thursday, FKF boss Nick Mwendwa said Thika United complied with the club licensing and will be included to the 2017 season that is expected to kick-off February 11.
According to Mwendwa ,Thika attained score for provisional license while Sofapaka were asked to demonstrate they have money in bank and make sure they have paid all their players by Wednesday which was yesterday.
