
Ex-Tahidi High actress Tanya, born Sarah Hassan, on Saturday, February 25, wed her longtime lover Martin Dale in a breathtaking ceremony held at a lush garden in Karura Forest in Westlands, Nairobi.
Sarah Hassan’s wedding comes just three days after her bridal shower party, which took place at Nairobi’s Kiza Lounge and B-Club.
Sarah Hassan looked radiant in a white ball gown, while her flame Martin Dale was suave and deferential in a black two piece suit.
The invite-only wedding was attended by the couple’s family members and close friends including DJ Protégé, Juliet Ochieng, Sylvia Njoki, renowned stylist Brian Babu among others.
Mr Dale engaged Ms Hassan on October, 2015.
Sarah Hassan, who until recently, was away from the country to pursue a film career at the prestigious New York Film Academy. During her time in the US, Ms Hassan was living in Los Angeles, California.
The beauty relocated to LA with Mr Dale just a few months after her big engagement, leaving behind a successful showbiz career in Kenya.
Sarah made her debut on TV in 2009 in Citizen TV’s school drama Tahidi High as Tanya, one of the lead acts in the show.
It was during the same time that she also got her breakthrough in the Kenyan film industry.
Sarah Hassan has also featured as the top act in other TV hit series namely Demigods, Saints and Changes.
Her remarkable acting career opened up other avenues that made it easier for her to venture into TV presenting and hosting, which took off on a high note.
She hosted East African Dance show Sakata Mashariki in its second season.
In 2013 she succeeded Noni Gathoni as the host of the immensely popular Wedding Show on Citizen TV.
Sarah Hassan is also a model for fashionista Wambui Mukenyi’s clothing line and with her curvecous body, and amazing complexion, she sure does justice to the outfits.
She also appeared on True Love’s 10 anniversary edition in 2014, among other inspirational Kenyan women.
