You have probably heard of GQ Dancers - the girl dance crew that has been trending after they showed up on Larry Madowo's The Trend Live on NTV months after appearing on Citizen TV's 10 over 10.
Apparently, GQ Dancers consists of five extremely beautiful Kenyan ladies who met while growing up.
GQ Dancers revealed on to Larry Madowo that the "GQ" stands for 'Gifted queens' and the five have been doing dancing for the past five years.
The Crew once appeared on NTV's Jamrock. See pic below;
The group's sense of fashion has been the talk of town with a section of the entertainment scene questioning why they all have piercings on their faces.
They revealed that it was a group signature urging their fans to stop asking them whether piercing their bodies is painful.
On the media interview, GQ dancers claimed that for the while they have been training and working together, they wanted to make difference in the industry.
"Kama girl group you need to work extra, train hard, you need to have discipline do whatever it takes to get better" - Gloria Songoro, member of the crew said.
The crew has gained a lot of publicity from being featured in most of Eric Omondi's YouTube comedy videos.
If you watched comedy Eric Omondi's "How To Make A Nigerian Movie" you must have noticed some beautiful babes at the beginning of the video.
The ladies were actually the GQ dance crew.
GQ Dance crew was also featured in Eric Omondi's Sarafina remix dubbed "Saratina" which was highly criticized by South Africans who claimed that the Kenyan comedian was making fun of the Apartheid that was still haunting their nation.
They are great dancers.
