Lecturers call off strike, classes to resume Tuesday

Studies will resume in public universities after lecturers called off their two-month strike.

University Academic Staff Union officials said they had called off the strike after the university councils agreed to sign the 2013-2017 CBA.

The CBA gives lecturers a 17.5 per cent pay rise.
