Griezmann nets penalty as Atletico Madrid edge Leicester

MADRID, Spain, Apr 12 – Antoine Griezmann scored a first-half penalty as Atletico Madrid beat Leicester City 1-0 at home in Wednesday’s Champions League quarter-final first leg.

Griezmann won a 28th-minute penalty after he was barged to the ground by Marc Albrighton, and the France international converted from the spot to give Atletico a slim advantage ahead of next Tuesday’s return.
