Isaac Ruto ‘placed a multi bet’ and Twitter is thrilled

Kenyans on social media are calling Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto a ‘genius’ after he decided to play safe and ‘multi bet’ on two positions in the coming August 8, elections.

Kenyans are also at pains trying to understand how the Bomet governor will hold the two positions if Nasa wins the general elections and he is also re-elected as governor.

On Thursday, he tried to explain how he will be Bomet governor and take up his position as Deputy Premier Cabinet Secretary (PCS) in the Nasa deal where ODM’s Raila Odinga will be the flag-bearer with Kalonzo Musyoka of Wiper as his running-mate.

Isaac Ruto will become a deputy PCS in charge of State Department of Devolution and Planning, Finance and National Treasury in the Nasa government.

Mr Ruto said he would still vie for Bomet Governor and then nominate people to take up the positions allocated to him in Nasa, but Twitter is still confused.
