It’s all about wefie as Infinix launches its latest gadget

The latest trend in any device being launched in the market is all about how to outdo each other with the best front camera.

Enter Infinix with what they are calling wefie.  Basically it is a selfie but with two or more people in it.
According to Urban dictionary, wefie is a plural of a selfie.

Infinix will on Monday launch the S2 PRO (X522), a successor to the Hot S, and they have dropped the Hot out of S in order to separate it from its first entry of the S series.

FIRST EVER

The first ever wefie targets the latest trends of young consumers who want to take group photos when happiness.

The S2 features trendsetting dual front cameras and the industry’s first ever application of an ultra-wide angle of 135°.

At the front, it has a 13MP standard and an extra 8MP for that perfect wefie, while at the back there’s a standard 13MP camera with dual tone LED flash.

The S2 has a 5.2 inch HD screen covered in 2.5D dragon tail glass.

FINGERPRINT READER

Other notable specifications include a rear-mounted fingerprint reader and 3GB of RAM.

The fingerprint recognition is round to match the finger shape. It supports various fingerprint-based apps and is able to wake up certain software via your fingerprint, realizing comprehensive protection of personal information stored on the Smartphone.

S2 PRO will be available for sale exclusively from Monday on the online retailer, Jumia and it will retail at Sh15,699.
