Murkomen celebrates victory with wife – PHOTOS

Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen and his wife, Grace, on Wednesday celebrated his victory in the Jubilee Party’s senatorial nominations.

The senator bagged the Jubilee ticket in the county with 83,905 votes while his closest rival, John Kangogo, got 12,724 with Michael Kibiwott garnering 10, 200.

Murkomen celebrated his win by touring the town in a “Senator” branded vehicle while waving to the jubilant crowd through the sunroof.

The senator had been accompanied by his young daughter to the polling station as he cast his vote on Tuesday.

Murkomen and Grace have four children together with the last born being Kiberur Kipchumba who recently turned one year.
