The horrific tales of marauding gangs terrorizing residents of one Nairobi neighborhood which was aired on NTV have caused fear and panic among Kenyans on Twitter over their safety.
The investigative story, The Diary of a Gangster, brought to the fore how a gang that goes by the name Gaza has been robbing, maiming and killing residents of Eastland’s Kayole estate.
In the story, residents recounted how they have been forced to close businesses early and desist from venturing out late at night for fear of being robbed.
In an unexpected revelation one of the gangsters narrates in a written confession how the gang is being funded by some leaders in the area.
Kenyans on Twitter reacted to the story by questioning why innocent people are forced to live in fear.
