A ‘mysterious’ bird that fell from the skies in Bahati, Nakuru on Thursday morning has caused a stir in the town as residents tried to make out what it is.
The bird has since been identified as the Great White Pelican, a huge bird with only the Dalmatian Pelican averaging larger amongst the pelicans.
The bird is also found in Africa in swamps and shallow lakes.
The bird’s fall caused excitement on social media with the hashtag #BahatiBird trending on Twitter.
