Nigerian arrested for allegedly raping student at USIU hostel

A Nigerian man has been arrested for allegedly raping a student at a university hostel in Nairobi.

The 19 year-old suspect had gone into hiding after the incident before police found him on Wednesday.

He is being questioned over the rape of an 18-year-old female student at United States International University-Africa.

The incident allegedly occurred on May 19 at the student hostels in Kasarani, Nairobi.

Police arrested the man at 7pm on Wednesday, a week after the incident was reported to officers at the Kasarani Police Station.
