Nairobi’s Senatorial candidate Johnson Sakaja says Miguna Miguna’s chances of clinching the county’s gubernatorial seat in the August elections are akin to “chances of a water drop in hell”.
Sakaja made the claim during an appearance on popular political talk show Jeff Koinange Live on Wednesday night.
“Miguna has the chance of a water drop in hell. I wish him well even though I would advise him that people dont get elected by abusing everyone and especially their competitors,” Sakaja said.
Miguna is contesting against incumbent Evans Kidero, Peter Kenneth and Sakaja’s preferred candidate, Jubilee Party’s Mike Mbuvi Sonko among others.
And Sakaja who is currently serving as a nominated Member of Parliament, argues that Sonko will do a “way better job” compared to Dr Kidero.
“I like Kidero so much as a person but he has failed Nairobians. It seems to me like he is unable to perform, and not that he has refused.”

Nowadays you can’t differentiate Sakaja talk from the likes of Duale and Sonko. He is no longer the voice of reason @citizentvkenya #JKLive
