Bomet: Isaac Ruto Sent Home in Humiliating Defeat

Bomet governor Isaac Ruto has seen one of the biggest defeats in this election. Jubilee’s Joyce Laboso has snatched the victory with 67% as of this writing.

The Chama Cha Mashinani founder was one of Nasa’s 5 principals and it was critical that he delivers the South Rift to Raila, or at the bare minimum, Bomet. But it appears the Jubilee wave was simply too much to beat. Though registering an improvement from 2013, Raila still failed to impress in Bomet, getting only 12%.

The outgoing governor is yet to concede or release any statement as of this writing.
