Babu Owino arrested, being grilled over Uhuru remarks

Embakasi East MP Paul Ongili, alias Babu Owino was on Monday arrested and taken to CID headquarters along Kiambu Road for questioning.

He was arrested for allegedly making an abusive statement in reference to President Uhuru Kenyatta during an opposition rally in Kawangware on Sunday.

Nairobi County Police Commander, Japhet Koome has confirmed the arrest.
