Embakasi East MP Paul Ongili, also known as Babu Owino, was on Wednesday re-arrested moments after being freed on bail.
Police officers descended on the young MP within the premises of Milimani Law Courts after he had paid bail and drove away with him.
Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi had released the MP on a Sh500, 000 bail and two sureties who must be persons of equal standings.
It is not yet clear why Babu Owino was re-arrested, neither have police confirmed his whereabouts.
