The Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) CEO Ezekiel Mutua has excited Kenyans online after posting pictures of himself walking barefooted on fire.

Through his Facebook page Mr Mutua shared a series of pictures of himself together with his colleagues all lined up to walk through a bed of fire.

He said he took the test to challenge his mental power.

“I got blisters but it was a test of mental power. The belief that you can do anything you set your mind to do. I burned a bit but I did it and passed the test,” he said.

Fire walking has been practiced by many people and cultures in all parts of the world. It is often used as a rite of passage, as a test of an individual’s strength and courage, or in religion as a test of one’s faith.

The post elicited mixed reactions from his followers, with some doubtful if indeed it was a real fire that he walked on. This is what they had to say:
