Our Client, a well-established Manufacturing company is looking for Field Service Engineer. The successful candidate must have a solid background in Service Engineering, demonstrate strong electronic repair troubleshooting methodology and maintains at least an intermediate technical level of product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for meeting daily service repair needs and driving customer satisfaction
  • Installation, repair and maintenance of equipment in the field
  • Provide customer training as required.
  • Document all inspections, maintenance, repair work and submit paperwork on a timely basis
  • Order, install, and return parts and manage repair parts cycle time
  • Review all logs for open issues and prepare formal reports to customers as necessary.
  • Participate in Service sales and assists with promoting and implementing revenue programs.
  • Assess equipment performance based on field support data; recommend modifications
  • Seek to provide technical support to customers and other service professionals as required.
  • Participate in site surveys, pilot program service activities
  • Attend meetings, champion special projects and prepare exclusive reports.
  • Possess a solid level of technical knowledge on the company’s Trace or X-Ray products.
  • Maintains clear and concise business communication proficiency, both oral and written
  • Establish and maintain a close relationship with senior level FSE’s and Product Managers
  • Exercise every available measure to control and minimize costs.
  • Travel, overtime and work hours other than Monday-Friday required.
  • Shift work and on call duty required
  • Comply and ensure department compliance with Company health, safety and environmental policies.
  • Comply with all applicable export control and security regulations.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Engineering Degree or equivalence achieved through comparative work and life experience.
  • Computer literacy and aptitude for learning specialized software programs.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience directly involved in troubleshooting and field repair
  • Possess good communications skills and strong orientation for customer focus and teamwork.
  • Must be willing & able to travel at short notice.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi task several projects.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle stressful situations.
  • Intercultural skills
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and accountable individual
  • Ability to lift item up to 50 lbs. unassisted
