The indefinite closure of the University of Nairobi following a directive by the institution’s Senate has been greeted with a flurry of reactions from the online community.
The university made the announcement via Twitter informing students of a Tuesday 9am deadline to leave the institution’s premises.
Already, there were reports of ongoing protests by students at the Lower Kabete campus that affected traffic along Lower Kabete Road.
This is what Kenyans on twitter had to say.
