The government has banned all opposition demonstrations in Nairobi, Mombasa and Kisumu.
Interior CS Fred Matiang’i announced the ban on Thursday saying that the demonstrators had resorted to looting and destroying property.
Dr Matiang’I also called on those who may have lost property during the previous demonstrations to report to police.
He said the government will prosecute Nasa CEO Norman Magaya for failing to ensure that the demos were peaceful.
