PHP Web Developer.

Our client, a leading Agricultural Company with an East African reach based in Kenya is seeking to recruit a young, energetic, innovative and experienced PHP Web Developer to build beautiful and high impact web and mobile applications. The successful candidate MUST have relevant Project Management working experience in a fast evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
Develop and support cloud services with Geo-coding.
Develop APIs for multiple application integrations.
Create site layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices.
Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
Gather and refine the specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
Create and maintain software documentation.
Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling the sites.
Cooperate with other teams to match the standards of our clients.

Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Must have a minimum of 5 years’ project management experience in a similar field.
Must have developed APIs for multiple application integrations.
Proven working experience in web programming.
Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS
Familiarity with PHP, Javascript, Laravel, VueJs.
Experience of building APIs and some GIS software will be an added advantage.
Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application.
Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools.
Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process.
Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines.
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technology.
Must be able to work independently or in a team.
