Why Raila spent night at Jimi Wanjigi’s home

Nasa leader Raila Odinga spent the night at businessman Jimi Wanjigi’s Muthaiga residence.

Mr Odinga’s spokesman Dennis Onyango told Nation Wednesday morning that the Nasa leader had opted to stay overnight at Mr Wanjigi’s home to ensure the businessman was not harassed by police.

“He is keeping watch over Jimi as a friend,” Mr Onyango said.

The spokesman said police have since left the residence.

Early Wednesday, Nasa principal Moses Wetang’ula arrived at the residence.
