Based in Nairobi, the position requires a dynamic and self-motivated Multi lingual Recruitment Consultant with proven track record in Business Development. The successful candidate MUST be able to source new clients and have excellent interpersonal skills. He/She must be fluent in French and Portuguese to attract new business opportunities in Portuguese and French-speaking African countries. He/She will also explore new markets, particularly the Scandinavian market, hence knowledge in any Scandinavian language, is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the company recruitment and training strategy to support business growth in the French and Portuguese speaking African countries.
- Partner with clients to provide strategic HR solutions with tactical action plans locally, but particularly overseas.
- Liaise closely with all clients, to ensure their recruitment needs are being met.
- Source industry related remuneration market data, and ensure clients understand competitive compensation and benefits programs in Kenya and overseas.
- Lead change initiatives locally and overseas and be available to travel for meetings as and when necessary by the client, including overseas traveling.
- Maintain and nurture the client and candidate database for the local and overseas market.
Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in management of clients and business development.
- Working in a multicultural environment.
- Ability to develop new business from clients and deal with candidates requirements.
- Ability and confidence to engage and influence at senior levels.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent – both written and verbal – in Portuguese and French.
- Fluency in any Scandinavian market – both written and verbal.
