Our client, the largest Commercial Real Estate Service & Investment Firm are looking to recruit a Receptionist for a global facility in Nairobi. The successful candidate MUST have an excellent background working with global organizations, bubbly and extroverted personality. He/she would be required to have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a receptionist in a corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities: –
- Welcome guest, in a professional manner.
- Ensure that the reception service contributes to creating a positive image of the client.
- Accept documents or small parcels for any member of staff.
- Provide switchboard service by answering & forwarding incoming telephone calls.
- Maintain an up to date internal telephone list.
- Manage the meeting room diary and communicate availability to staff.
- Ensure meeting room is clean and tidy.
- Ensure required equipment and furniture are available and in a working order.
- Provide general administration assistant.
- Ensure all visitors sign in the visitor register.
- Support administration and special project requirements.
Qualification: –
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal & written.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
- Must be willing to work extended hours.
- Must be client services oriented.
- Must have worked in a global, well-established facility.
- Must have excellent presentation skills.
- Must have a go-getter attitude and a change agent.
- Proven knowledge of local HSE standards & regulations.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in administration.
