Our client an innovative Technology Solution Company based in Karen, Nairobi is looking to recruit a Senior PHP Developer to join their development team. The overall objective of this position is to develop and also ensure high-level quality assurance & control processes for system developed. He/She MUST have an excellent PHP Language experience and working with Laravel framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop key business applications.
- Provide operational support to the Organization’s existing business solutions.
- Optimize new and existing websites.
- Develop technical responses to tender’s including development effort.
- Assist the development team with research on various technologies.
- Develop clear and concise technical documentation for projects.
- Assist in other development duties.
Qualification:
- Must have a bachelor degree in Computer Science or IT.
- Must have excellent and proven technical skills in PHP and Laravel.
- Must demonstrate experience working with scalable enterprise web applications.
- Strong understanding of MVC design patterns & Object-Oriented Programming.
- Understanding of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
- Working knowledge of Azure, AWS, Bitbucket, Linux and Apache.
- Experience in version control software e.g. SVN
- Strong analytic and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Driven individual with the ability to working multiple projects.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must be willing to work on 1-year contract.
