Head Teacher for International School

Our client a multi-cultural small nature-based un-school/kindergarten is looking to recruit a Head Teacher. The ideal candidate must be creative, warm, patient, flexible, good with children, genuinely caring for children and respecting them and is great at coming up with fun and interesting projects for the children. He/She must have experience working in an international school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize learning material and resources.
• Formulating overall objectives and aims for the school & policies for their implementation.
• Ensuring the school is up-to-date with innovations and developing a creative & responsive approach to teaching.
• Assuming responsibility for other legal matters in the day-to-day running of the school.
• Develop positive relationships with parents & families of each child.
• Plan activities fun activities for the kids.
• Review teachers’ lesson plans, schedules & portfolio assessments to assure their accordance with requirements.
• Identify and prioritize materials and equipment needed in classrooms and playgrounds, and coordinate with directors in making purchases.
• Lead responsibility for parent involvement in education services.

Qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Education.
• Must have experience teaching in an international school.
• Independent and can start and run his/her own projects.
• Proven experience in managing or running a team or business.
• Must be creative and solution oriented.
• Must have a natural love for children.
• Presentable and orderly.
