Top 2017 KCPE candidate Goldalyn Kakuya of St Anne junior Lubao in Kakamega has been selected to join her school of choice –Kenya High.
Kakuya, a special student, emerged top nationally with 455 marks.
She has been in the limelight including being invited to visit State House and holding a series of live TV interviews.
The second best candidate Sharon Murega of Kathigiri Boarding Pri School in Meru will join Alliance Girls High School.
Kakuya, who aspires to be a psychiatrist, told journalists that she was torn between joining Kenya High and M-Pesa Foundation Academy.
“I dedicate this performance to all the people who have supported me through my education, teachers, friends, parents and the school,” she said.
